PhD
At QuTech, international scientists and engineers work together to realise QuTech’s mission: building the first scalable quantum computer prototype and a secure quantum internet.
We’re always looking for new bright minds to join us on this journey, so if you graduated from your masters in a subject related to quantum science and technology with excellent results and are passionate about quantum, you might apply for a PhD position. QuTech offers an international, inspiring and respectful working environment with plenty of room for ambition, entrepreneurship and innovation.
QuTech: Working on a shared dream
QuTech is a top quantum institute located in Delft. Founded by Delft University of Technology and independent research organisation TNO, QuTech has a unique position combining science and engineering. Knowledge from different fields is combined in the shared dream of creating the first quantum computer and quantum internet.
The scientific work is divided in three divisions, each of which contributes to generating the necessary elements for the quantum computer and quantum internet. QuTech cooperates with national and European institutions and key players in the industry, such as Intel and Microsoft. The support from and interaction with industry is necessary to achieve small and large breakthroughs on a daily basis, and thus to take steps forward towards a new era.
