At QuTech international scientists and engineers work together to realise QuTech’s mission: building the first scalable quantum computer prototype and a secure quantum internet.
QuTech offers an international, inspiring and innovative working environment with plenty of room for ambition, entrepreneurship and innovation. If you graduated at QuTech Academy with excellent results, you might apply for a PhD position or pursue a career in quantum at adjacent industries, like Intel or Microsoft.
QuTech: Working on a shared dream
QuTech is a top quantum institute located in Delft. Founded by TU Delft and TNO, QuTech has a unique position combining science and engineering. Knowledge from different fields is combined in the shared dream of creating the first quantum computer and quantum internet.
The scientific work is divided in three divisions, each of which contributes to generating all the necessary elements for the quantum computer and quantum internet. QuTech cooperates with Dutch and European governments and key players in the industry, Intel and Microsoft. The support and insights from the industry’s point-of-view is necessary to achieve small and large breakthroughs on a daily basis, and thus to take steps forward towards a new era.
